Moscelyne Larkin was born in Miami, Oklahoma, back in 1925. Her mother was a Russian dancer, and her father an Eastern Shawnee-Peoria Indian. Her amazing story takes this would-be dancer to the East Coast, then around the world...before settling back in Tulsa where she would start a world-class ballet and create a one-of-a-kind institution: The Christmastime production of the iconic "Nutcracker."
