Gilcrease's Museum

With more than 350,000 items, Tulsa's Gilcrease Museum is home to the world's largest, most comprehensive collection of art of the American West. Established in 1949 by oil magnate Thomas Gilcrease, the interdisciplinary art and artifacts also represent hundreds of indigenous cultures from North and South America, ranging from 12,000 BCE to the 20th century, and American history such as the only surviving certified copy of the Declaration of Independence once used by Benjamin Franklin. This week on LoyalTV, join us in Tulsa to explore the history of the museum and its exciting future!
