Pictures from the exceptional town of Tecumseh, OK. Take a look at the quaint and romantic town, rich in culture with a growing economy that is close to all of the modern conveniences of a bigger city.
When the area was opened for settlement in an 1891 land run, 15,000 adventurers, families, gamblers and promoters lined up to claim one of 5,000 homesteads. When the dust settled, residents of the new town opted to name it for Tecumseh, a famous Shawnee chief. Today, Tecumseh offers small-town friendliness with the convenience of the big city just minutes away.
