The Buffalo Soldiers

The Buffalo Soldiers helped protect our nation's westward expansion by building thousands of miles of roads and telegraph lines, pursuing outlaws and cattle thieves, and serving among the first national park rangers. Their impact can be felt across the country, but no place has such a rich and profound Buffalo Soldier history as Oklahoma. One of their many missions in Oklahoma was building military forts, such as Fort Sill, where their presence is still felt today. This week on LoyalTV, join us in Lawton to learn about their lasting legacy.
