Considered one of the wonders of the western world, the Chisholm Trail was, for a time, the world's most important cattle trail. As many as 10,000 cattle were herded by cowboys from southern Texas through Oklahoma and up to Kansas. The often treacherous journey gave rise to the modern-day persona of the cowboy in American culture and film. This week on LoyalTV, saddle up and join us at the Chisholm Trail Museum in Kingfisher for a ride through the trail's history.
